My adventure started while working for IBM. I was involved with an IT predictive analytics product based on IBM Streams. I wanted to go deeper into the data science behind the product. So in 2014, I joined the Coursera Data Science Specialization. The course was a challenge. Many of the people I started the course with, dropped out. I endured, and in April 2015, I completed my capstone project. I had learned the fundementals of data science and become proficient in the R language.
